About

The Dutchess County Medical Society is an organization that maintains high standards of integrity, honor, and courtesy in the medical profession; considers and acts upon matters effecting the practice of medicine and the public health of Dutchess County; cultivates and advances education in the science of medicine.

The focus of the Dutchess County Medical Society, Inc., is the physician. The Society helps physicians maintain their professionalism, knowledge, and dedication.

The Dutchess County Medical Society, the American Medical Association, and the Medical Society of the State New York represent physicians in making the public aware of issues and positions that are important to the quality of medicine and patient care.

A physician, whether working in private practice, in a group, or for a hospital or other organization, is first and foremost a physician. All physicians share a common mission- to serve patients. The Medical Society’s sole aim is to help them in that mission.  Meetings, networking, publications, and services are all aimed to serve the physician.
